We will be making a leather belt with vegetable tanned leather and stainless steel or brass buckles. You will learn about the cutting of leather and yourself prepare the edges and stitch the belt with the traditional saddle stitch, using two needles. All tools and a variety of stitching clams, clamps, ponies will be provided but do bring along your own if you like.
Materials Fee: 20€ paid directly to Lizzy at the festival.
Skill Level/Prerequisite’s: Open to All Levels!
Minimum age: 16 years old
Morning workshops start after our morning circle around 9:30 am and end at 1pm.
Lizzy's speaks English & German.
If language is a barrier we are confident you will learn even if you speak or understand broken English. So much of the learning depends on seeing, feeling, and hearing the sounds as well.
