A sensory eco-printing workshop starting with a gentle walk through the forest to gather plant materials, followed by printing botanical patterns onto silk using steam and natural pigments.
This workshop begins before you even touch a piece of fabric. A gentle walk through the forest sets the tone — a chance to slow down, engage your senses, and gather the plant materials that will become your printing palette. Leaves, stems, and botanicals collected along the way are arranged onto silk and coaxed into pattern through steam and natural pigments, leaving behind delicate, organic impressions that couldn’t be replicated any other way.
Open to all levels, this is as much about the process and the experience as it is about the final piece. No two prints will ever look the same — the forest decides as much as you do.
Material Cost: 15€ paid directly to Kasper & Jolinde on site.
Skill Level/Prerequisite’s: This workshop is open to all levels.
Minimum age: 8 years old.
Afternoon workshops start after our lunch break around 2:00pm (14:00) and end around 5 or 6pm.
Kasper & Jolinde speak Dutch and English.
If language is a barrier we are confident you will learn even if you speak or understand broken English. So much of the learning depends on seeing, feeling, and hearing the sounds as well.
IMPORTANT- Festival Tickets are booked separately and in addition to workshops. Please be sure you have booked your ticket before booking workshops!
