In this half-day workshop, you will forge a small bell from steel using traditional blacksmithing techniques. We’ll shape, refine, and tune the bell so it produces a clear tone, while learning fundamental hammer control and forging skills along the way. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a functional hand-forged bell and a deeper understanding of how form and sound come together at the anvil.
Material costs: 5-10€ depending on materials used.
Skill Level/Prerequisite’s: Open to All Levels!
Minimum age: 12 years old.
Morning workshops start after our morning circle around 9:30 am and end around 1pm.
Martha's speaks German and some English.
If language is a barrier we are confident you will learn even if you speak or understand broken English. So much of the learning depends on seeing, feeling, and hearing the sounds as well.
