Learn the technique of saddlers stitch, (doublestitching leather with two needles) to make a cover or holder for tools of your choice from vegetable tanned leather. I will discuss and advise on patternmaking and teach you assembly and stitching using saddlers clams. Tools and materials will be provided for the cover but you should bring a tool to make the sheath for!
To Bring: You must supply your own tool to make a cover for.
Skill Level/Prerequisite’s: Open to All Levels!
Minimum age: 16 years old
Workshops start after our morning circle around 9:30 am and end around 5 or 6 pm.
Katy speaks English & German.
If language is a barrier we are confident you will learn even if you speak or understand broken English. So much of the learning depends on seeing, feeling, and hearing the sounds as well.
IMPORTANT- Festival Tickets are booked separately and in addition to workshops. Please be sure you have booked your ticket before booking workshops!
