Scything and Peening with Stephan Konzack
Scything is a craft with a very long tradition. To learn it is easy. The important part is that the Scythe must be sharp and fit you.
You will learn to adjust the scythe according to your body, to mow on a meadow and to sharpen the scythe blade with the wet stone.
Last but not least, you will be shown how to hammer the blade on an anvil, which is important for a good blade sharpness.
All tools are provided; bring your scythe if you have one!
All levels are welcome for this class.
