Pan Forging with Sven Liebetrau
In this workshop students will be forging a frying pan from a steel disc, the course also includes forging the handle and joining the parts with rivets. Experienced blacksmith Sven Liebetrau will be on hand to offer advice and comprehensive expertise to make an iron frying pan for any type of stove.
Minimum age: 12 year’s old
Material costs: 20€ to be paid directly to Sven at the Festival
Workshops start after our morning circle around 9:30 am and end around 5 or 6 pm.
Sven's courses are in German with a little bit of English.
If language is a barrier we are confident you will learn even if you don’t speak or understand German. So much of the learning depends on seeing, feeling, and hearing the sounds as well.
IMPORTANT- Festival Tickets are booked separately and in addition to workshops. Please be sure you have booked your ticket before booking workshops!
