Beginners Bowl Turning with Jero Lehr & Nico de Wispelaere
In this beginner’s bowl turning class you will learn how to use an axe to safely work a freshly split trunk of green wood into a bowl blank. With the help of hook tools and muscle power you will turn your finished wooden bowl on a traditionally made Pole Lathe. The bowl produced will be ideal for everyday use in your kitchen, be it for muesli, soups, salads or snacks.
No prior experience needed. This workshop will still be beneficial for those with some experience as well.
Workshops start after our morning circle around 9:30 am and end around 5 or 6 pm.
Oliver speaks English & German.
If language is a barrier we are confident you will learn even if you speak or understand broken English. So much of the learning depends on seeing, feeling, and hearing the sounds as well.
IMPORTANT- Festival Tickets are booked separately and in addition to workshops. Please be sure you have booked your ticket before booking workshops!
