Katharina Held (she/her)
Von Hand has been an important part of my journey into carving and I
value the exchange with like minded people and the knowledge and skills
that are shared throughout the festival. While I discovered my passion
for spoon carving about five years ago I still think of myself as an
absolute beginner (mostly because there are so so many things I still
want to learn). That hasn’t stopped me from making many many spoons and
also creating community around this craft. I am very passionate about
the well-being benefits of carving and the joy that can be found in this
activity and simple wooden spoons.
I also run a monthly spoonclub in Hamburg (hit me up, if you want to join!)
